The construction of Vietnam's first-ever industrial park
Vietnam launched the construction of the first industrial park to use natural gas on Tuesday in the southern province of Ba Ria ?Vung Tau.
The US$6.2 million park, to be built by Hong Lam, a Ho Chi Minh City-based company, will first be built on an area of 30 ha in Ba Ria town before being broadened to 210 ha two years later.
Factories in the zone would use natural gas sourced directly from oil fields in the Con Son Islands, some 155 kilometers off the Ba Ria?Vung Tau coast.
