US Don't Want Australia to Cooperate with Iran

The US will try to discourage Austrian oil company OMV from cooperating with Iran on gas field development.

A State Department spokesman said the deal could draw US sanctions. OMV, Central Europe's biggest oil and gas group, last week inked am MoU with Iran to jointly develop parts of the giant South Pars gas field.
