December Gold Fell on Dollar Strength

Gold for December delivery ended down $1.20 at $679.70 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

The dollar rose against other major currencies Tuesday after data about higher producer prices and a narrowing trade deficit came in better than expectations.
