Gold Slid From Its 28 Years High

After touching a 28 year high in the morning session, gold prices eased slightly as traders sold the precious metal to cash in profits at higher levels, and as U.S dollar recovered slightly.

Spot gold hit an intraday high of $799.3, before easing towards $793.4 a troy ounce, down by $ 1.95.

Gold for December delivery on the COMEX division of NYMEX gained 90 cents to trade at $796.20 a troy ounce.
