Gazprom's Profit Bigger Than Expected

Russian gas giant Gazprom's profit stood at $4.878 billion in the third quarter of 2007, the company said.

Gazprom said its revenues amounted to $20.234 billion in the period, higher than the average forecast of $20.025 billion.
