BP announced that Baku-Supsa pipeline which transports crude from Azerbaijan to Georgia's Black Sea coast was closed because of security concerns.
Baku-Supsa shipments were halted August 12th because of Russian-Georgian conflict. Exporters had resumed injections into the link August 2nd after about 19 months of repairs.
Ms Tamam Bayatly a BP spokeswoman in Baku said that "The pipeline is safe and undamaged and is shut down as a precaution only."
