LUKoil won the annual contest "For Active Information Disclosure Corporate Policy" held by Interfax and AK&M, authorized agencies of the Federal Financial Markets Service
When selecting the winner of the prize entitled “For Active Information Disclosure Corporate Policy”, the experts considered comprehensiveness and timeliness of reporting in accordance with the international standards, disclosure of information on beneficiary owners, and simultaneous disclosure to Russian and foreign investors.
"In 2008 we included a company’s activities on the information market during crises in the list of factors significant for the assessment of its activities. In terms of this indicator, LUKoil scored the greatest number of points and left its competitors far behind."
The experts also noted improved simultaneity in disclosing current information to foreign and Russian investors, and highly praised the Company's activities in other areas related to information’, Vladimir Gerasimov, Executive Director of the Interfax Group and Chairman of the Contest Jury, said.The prize “For Active Information Disclosure Corporate Policy” was established by the agencies Interfax and АК&М in 2003 to award to issuers for outstanding results in timely and comprehensive information disclosure to investors.
