NOVATEK Launches Condensate De-ethylenization Unit

Novatek has launched industrial production of a de-ethylenization unit for non-stable gas condensate at the Yurkharovskoye field and a 326-kilometer condensate pipeline with a throughput capacity of over 3 million tons a year. The pipeline links the Yurkharovskoye field and the company's own refining facilities, the Purov condensate refinery.
construction on the objects was completed on schedule and within budget. The company lowered capital investment by deciding not to build an expensive power line along the entire length of the pipeline, choosing instead to install solar panels and wind generators to service the pipeline.
"Launching the unit and the condensate pipeline will enable Novatek to independently conduct primary preparation and transport of de-ethylenized gas condensate from the Yurkharovskoye field for further processing at the Purov refinery", deputy Novatek chair Aleksandr Fridman said.
