Organisational structure of SIBUR corporate centre changed, new Management Board elected

In order to further enhance the effectiveness of the management system, the organisational structure of “SIBUR” LLC has been changed. Structural divisions within the corporate centre have been eliminated.

In order to further enhance the effectiveness of the management system, the organisational structure of “SIBUR” LLC has been changed. Structural divisions within the corporate centre have been eliminated. The new management system is based on functional principles, and job titles reflect only the hierarchical status and belonging to the functions being performed. The new system will enable increasing mobility and personal liability among company management for results achieved.


Also, a new Management Board of the management organisation was elected, authority was redistributed, and internal personnel movements were implemented.


Mikhail Karisalov, who earlier served as the company’s vice-president and headed the Hydrocarbon Feedstock Division, has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and the Executive Director of SIBUR. He will be responsible for strategic development, the efficiency of and support for the company’s production of hydrocarbon feedstock, energy, innovation, capital investment, investment projects, logistics, environmental protection and industrial safety.


Konstantin Belkin has been named as the new Director of the Hydrocarbon Feedstock Division, holding rank as a Management Board Member and Managing Director of “SIBUR” LLC. Previously, he was the Director of Operations at the Hydrocarbon Feedstock Division.


Mikhail Gordin has been appointed as the new Director of the Synthetic Rubbers Division, holding rank as a Management Board Member and Managing Director of “SIBUR” LLC. Previously, he served as the Deputy Director of Development in the Synthetic Rubbers Division.


Andrei Zhvakin, who previously headed the Synthetic Rubbers Division, has been appointed as the Director of the company’s corporate university. Under the leadership of Andrei Zhvakin, the Synthetic Rubbers Division has demonstrated positive development dynamics, has successfully overcame the 2008-2009 crisis, and has laid the foundation for the further growth of this business segment on foreign markets.
The new appointments were carried out within the framework of the current staff turnover among the company’s management team.

Sergey Komyshan
was born on September 15, 1972 in the Republic of Moldova. In 1994, he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), specialising in "international economics".


From 1994 to 1998, he worked for the International Finance Company (IFC Bank). In 1998, he moved to the international investment bank JP Morgan (London) and later served as Vice President, heading the division responsible for the bank’s operations on Russian financial markets (Russia Local Markets).


In 2001-2002, he studied at the INSEAD business school (France/Singapore), where he earned his MBA, after which he continued his studies at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA).


From 2003 to 2004, he worked as a Project Manager at the Moscow branch of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.


He has been working at SIBUR since late 2004, successively holding posts as the Director of the Strategic Development Department, Deputy Director for Strategy and Development of the Plastics and Organic Synthesis Division, Head of management services for “CAPEXcel” capital projects at SIBUR, and the Head of Investment and Investment Projects. In April 2011, he headed the Base polymers Division. In December 2011, he was appointed Managing Director of the company. He is a Management Board Member of "SIBUR" LLC – the management organisation of CJSC "SIBUR Holding".


Konstantin Belkin was born on August 8, 1960 in the village of Laryak, Tyumen region. In 1982, he graduated from the Tyumen Industrial Institute, specialising in the "Chemical technology of petroleum and gas”.


For the period 1982-1985, he worked as a processing unit operator, a shift supervisor, and a senior engineer at the Belozerny Gas Processing Plant (Khanty-Mansy Autonomous Region).


In 1986-1987, he served in the Soviet army. From 1988 to 1998, he worked as an engineer, Deputy Chief of the Central Dispatch Service (CDS), Chief Technology Officer and Head of the CDS, and Deputy General Director for Production of "Sibneftegazpererabotka". In 2006, he worked as the Deputy General Director for Production, and then Director of Production at OJSC "Sibur-Tyumen". Since 2007, he has served as the Deputy Director of Production, and Director of Operations in the Hydrocarbon Feedstock Division of SIBUR. In December 2011, he was appointed Managing Director of the company. He is a Management Board Member of "SIBUR" LLC – the management organisation of the CSJC "SIBUR Holding".


Mikhail Gordin was born on August 16, 1969 in Moscow. In 1993, he graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, specialising in "Automated Information Processing and Management." Since 1990, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Systems Analysis of the Russian Academy of Sciences. From 1997 to 2005, he held various positions at ConocoPhillips, first in Moscow and since 1999, at the company’s European headquarters in London.


In 2005, he returned to Russia and was appointed Director of Associated Gas Processing Projects Department at the company "TNK-BP Management".


In 2008, he was invited to work at SIBUR in the capacity of Deputy Director for Development in the Synthetic Rubbers Division. In addition, since 2009, he has headed SIBUR’s project for the corporate modernisation of supply chain management. In December 2011, he was appointed Managing Director of the company. He is a Management Board Member of "SIBUR" LLC – the management company of CJSC “SIBUR Holding".
Vasily Nomokonov was born on March 13, 1972 in Dubna, Moscow region. In 1995, he graduated from the Moscow State Engineering Physics Institute (Technical University), with the specialisation "engineer-physicist." He has a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences.


From 1995 to 1996, he worked as a research assistant at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.


From 1996 to 2000, he worked as a research associate at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva (Switzerland).
For the period 2001-2005, he worked as a Consultant and Project Manager for the Moscow office of the firm "McKinsey & Company, Inc. FSYU".


He has worked at SIBUR since 2005, successively holding positions as the Head of the Production Optimisation Centre and Head of Technology and Production Optimisation. In January 2012, he was appointed Managing Director of the company. He is a Management Board Member of "SIBUR" LLC – the management organisation of CJSC “SIBUR Holding".


Boris Lim was born on May 29, 1969 in Moscow. In 1992, he graduated from the Economics Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in "political economy". He graduated with his master’s degree from the University of Korea in Seoul, and received his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA).


From 1993 to 1998, he worked in Seoul for the company Hanwha Group. From 1999 to 2001, he served as the general agent of East Line Airlines in South Korea. From 2003 to 2006, he worked as a consultant to the Moscow office of McKinsey & Co.


He has worked at SIBUR since 2006. He successively served as the Deputy Director for Development of the Hydrocarbon Feedstock Division, the CEO of OJSC "SiburTyumenGas", and the Head of Investment and Investment Projects.


In January 2012, he was appointed Managing Director of the company. He is a Management Board Member of "SIBUR" LCC – the management organisation of CJSC "SIBUR Holding".


Sergey Lukichev was born on January 27, 1964 in the Vladimir region. In 1986, he graduated from the Perm Higher Military Command Krasnoznamennoe School, specialising in “Physics and Power Plants”.


From 1986 to 2004 – served in the military.


Since 2004, he has worked at SIBUR, and served as the Director of the Economic Security department. In September 2011, he was appointed Managing Director of the company. He is a Management Board Member of "SIBUR" LLC - the management organisation of CJSC "SIBUR Holding".
