On January 30, 2012, Jacques de Boisséson has been appointed General Director of Total E&P Russie and General Representative of Total in Russia. He succeeds Pierre Nerguararian who left his operational responsibilities after a career of 32 years within the Group.
He joined Total in 1982 as an economist in the Exploration & Production, then worked as East Africa area Manager (E&P) and further on as Chief Economist and M&A for the North Sea area (E&P).
Mr. de Boisséson was appointed General Manager of Total E&P in Colombia in 1991, he then took the position of General Manager of Total E&P in Qatar in 1995. In 2001 he was appointed Senior Vice President for International Relations.
Jacques de Boisséson, 58, is a graduate of HEC Paris business school.
