SPD Recognized Most Dynamic Enterprise in Siberia

On September 7, 2012 the Black Gold of Yugra Contest was concluded in Khanty-Mansiysk. At the contest, Salym Petroleum Development N.V. (SPD) took the 2nd place in the category “The Most Dynamic Enterprise”. Moreover, SPD employee Vasily Glazunov was granted an award as the Best Operator in Oil Treatment and Transportation.

SPD has now won the prize of the most dynamic company for the 8th time in a row, and this a genuinely marvelous performance in the history of Russian oil industry. This award is recognition of SPD’s unique culture and the great efforts of our great team, our employees, our shareholders, our contractors and our partners.

SPD CEO Simon Durkin said:

The Black Gold of Yugra regional contest is carried out on an annual basis among oil and gas companies of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KHMAO) since 2003 and is timed to coincide with the national Oilman’s Day festivities.

The organizer of the contest is KHMAO Department of Oil and Mineral Resources.

SPD has been taking part in the contest since 2005 and has received awards in different categories, including For Efficient Development of Subsoil Resources, For Social-Economic Partnership and The Most Dynamic Enterprise.
