The first home-produced oil-well portland cement was tested in Belorusneft.
Well casing material produced by OJSC “Belarusian Cement Plant” will allow to a save a considerable amount of currency assets that are allocated for acquisition of import products used by the Belarusian oilfield workers.
Composition of the home-produced oil-well portland cement was developed in the Belarusian Scientific and Research Institute, and the samples were tested in the scientific and production center of the Association – in “BelNIPIneft” institute.
As the result, experimental field operations at well No. 167 of Vishanskoe oilfield were proved to be successful. The Belarusian analogue complies with all technological requirements, and it is much cheaper than import oil-well materials.
