World Economic Forum Annual Meeting was held in Davos on January 21-25.
SOCAR attended the event as a strategic partner.The delegation led by the Company’s President Rovnag Abdullayev held a number of bilateral and multilateral meetings, presentations. As stated before, ''SOCAR - Energy of Azerbaijan'' reception was held in Davos on January 22.
Hosting about thousand guests, the event started with screening of video “Azerbaijan - the country of the future”. SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev and the European Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger delivered speech at the meeting. The event was attended by representatives of the world leading mass media, including Bloomberg TV, Washington Post and Handelsblatt newspapers, Time and Fortune magazines.
It is the third time that ''SOCAR - Energy of Azerbaijan'' reception is organized as a part of the World Economic Forum in Davos, which aims at promoting Azerbaijan in the world and presenting SOCAR to the business world.
