During “Neftegaz-2014” exhibition which was held on May 26-29, 2014, a gas-fueled reciprocating MAN engine E3262 LE202 with output 550 kW was shown for the first time in Russia.
The engine was presented due to successful many years’ cooperation between “MT-Group” (Russia) and MAN Power (Germany). The visitors were able to familiarize with the engine, its features and to obtain further information of its operation from “MT-Group” representatives and Mr. Philipp Leistner, MAN representative and sales manager in Eastern Europe.
MAN engine E3262 LE202 is provided for continuous mode under peak load 550 kW, and is operated in a great variety of applications: industrial, commerce, municipal and renewable sectors for heat and power generation within SME. Other distinctive characteristics include optimisation of working cycle due to “four valves per cylinder” technology, which improves operational features such as service hours, ecological compatibility, fuel consumption, etc.
At present, MAN factory is serially manufacturing 19 types of gas-fueled reciprocating engines with output 47 to 550 kW. Today, about 12000 cogeneration plants on the basis of MAN engines have been commissioned in Germany. Constant extension of engine model range and usage of modern technologies have turned MAN Power into the company number one in Europe on the market of gas-fueled reciprocating engines for power plants.
“MT-Group” is an official representative of MAN high-speed industrial diesel and gas engines on the territory of Russia, CIS and Baltic states. We create solutions on the basis of MAN industrial gas and diesel engines (Germany), generating sets and cogeneration plants for oil and gas extracting industry, emergency power supply for socially important objects (hospitals, resorts, kindergartens, etc.), continuous power supply of further-flung regions, construction of CHP units and boiler houses, production of mobile power plants for other fields of industry.
