The Gazprom Management Committee approved the 2016–2020 Comprehensive Program for the reconstruction and re-equipment of gas and liquid hydrocarbon processing facilities.
The Program aims to ensure the processing of projected gas and liquid hydrocarbon volumes, as well as to expand the production of advanced processing products.
The Program provides for the reconstruction, re-equipment and modernization of the Company's core processing facilities.
After the meeting, Gazprom's specialized structural units were instructed to use the Program as a basis for preparing proposals on the Company's annual and medium-term investment programs with regard to the reconstruction and re-equipment of gas and liquid hydrocarbon processing facilities.

Gazprom's core processing facilities include the Astrakhan gas processing plant, the Orenburg gas processing and helium plants, the Sosnogorsk gas processing plant, the Surgut condensate stabilization plant, and the Urengoy condensate treatment plant.
Thanks to the 2011–2015 Comprehensive Program for the reconstruction and re-equipment of gas and liquid hydrocarbon processing facilities, Gazprom managed to process all feedstock extracted according to the Company's plans, start producing motor and diesel fuels under the Class 5 quality standard (equivalent to Euro 5), and boost commercial output.
