Transneft Siberia is performing works to improve reliability of Torgili line operation dispatcher station (LODS) at Tyumen Oil Trunk Pipeline Department (OTPD).
To ensure uninterruptible pumping of crude vertical steel VST-20000 m3 No. 5 tank is being revamped. As of now, metal structures are being replaced, along with making the tank foundation. More than 20 professionals in various spheres and 4 vehicles are involved in VST revamping.
Apart from that, construction of the cabinet-type oil quality measuring unit (QMU) continues at the Torgili LODS. The unit implementation has come to process pipeline welding and assembly of the overhead cable tray. The QMU is intended to meter the quality and quantity of oil pumped to the station via Nizhnevartovsk-Kurgan-Kuibyshev oil trunk pipeline.
Treatment facilities are being repaired at Torgili LODS to ensure better environmental safety. The project envisages repairs of two buildings, replacement of the stop valves, piping manifold, cleaning of drain shafts, pipelines and industrial sewerage system. The builders are now cleaning the pipelines and domestic sewer manholes.
The perimeter fencing is being replaced to improve the anti-terror security at the Torgili LODS. The main and the warning perimeter fencing replacement, assembly of the lighting pillars are underway now by 28 persons and 7 vehicles.
All the works are performed in line with the development programme of Transneft Siberia. The above facilities shall be put into operation in 2016.
