Transneft Siberia reported, that the company finalized comprehensive technical upgrading of Voznesenka oil pump station (NPS), Ishim Oil Trunk Pipeline Department, as part of the joint stock company’s development program.
The revamping included technical upgrading of automated control systems at Voznesenka NPA, in particular, replacement of NPS relay automation system and the fire fighting automation system commissioned in 1988. This equipment ran out its standard term and didn’t meet Transneft technical requirements anymore.
Work at the facility began in June 2015. The new Russian-made micro-processor automation system will secure operational management and continuous control over operating parameters of the entire technological equipment at NPS. The scope of controlled technological equipment parameters has doubled as compared with the relay automation system. The automation algorithms fully meet the applicable technical standards. The micro-processor automation system on the basis of the state-of-the-art appliances and the lower-level gauges has high failure-proof and reliability, which ensures smooth operation, operational control and functionality of management of the main and auxiliary equipment of NPS.
Besides the automation system, 274-meter technological pipeline was replaced at Voznesenka NPA. Work was performed from January to June 2016, in order to improve the operating reliability of NPS technological pipelines. The automatic pressure control system (APCS) was also brought to the required state.
So far, all of the facilities have been commissioned. The technical upgrading of Voznesenka NPS enabled to improve reliability of the oil transportation process and ensure safe operation of the production facility.
