Transneft held Revamping of 7 Underwater Crossing Sections of Aleksandrovskoye-Anzhero-Sudzhensk Oil Pipeline

Transneft Central Siberia reported that the company finalized construction and installation as part of revamping of 7 river crossing sections of Aleksandrovskoye-Ahznero-Sudzhensk oil trunk pipeline (OTP).

The overall length of the revamped sections totaled to 0.931 km. For instance, revamping and technical upgrading were carried out at individual sections of crossings of the Shegarka, the Shudelka (from Parabel oil pump station (NPS) to Molchanovo NPS), the Materichnaya (from Raskino NPS to Parabel NPS), the Murashka, the Avericheva (from Molchanovo NPS to Orlovka NPS) and the Talantay (main line) rivers. Revamping and pipe replacement were carried out at the crossing over the Maly Tatosh river.

In addition, technical upgrading of the water treatment plant at Luginetskoye emergency response and restoration station (village of Parabel, Tomsk Region), making part of Transneft Central Siberia, was finalized. After the technical upgrading, the facility was successfully commissioned.

All construction and installation were carried out in order to improve reliability of the equipment in use and to increase the oil trunk pipeline operation period. The work is envisaged in the comprehensive action plan for 2016 that was announced the construction quality year at Transneft.
