The key function of the Gazprom Neft Science and Technology Centre is to improve the company’s efficiency in oil production, through the implementation of new technologies and project-management solutions throughout Gazprom Neft assets.
The Centre provides analytical, methodological and scientific support across all aspects of oil exploration and production, focussing on the development of new technologies, engineering, and expertise in hydrocarbon prospecting and production, as well as project management, analysis and monitoring of oilfield development and geological prospecting works, geological and hydrodynamic modelling, technological support, and operational oversight of drilling operations.
The Gazprom Neft Scientific and Research Centre is responsible for coordinating the company’s Technology Strategy.
