Saipem has been awarded work by Eni in Africa as well as on Gazprom’s Nord Stream 2.

Italy´s Saipem wins 3 new orders worth $370 mln, also for Nord Stream-2


Italian contractor Saipem reported on August 31, 2017, that the company has been awarded 3 contracts amounting to $370 mln in value.

Eni Angola has awarded Saipem additional work orders for the West Hub Development project offshore Angola.

The work, which will be performed by Saipem's E&C Offshore division, cover the construction and installation in deep waters of umbilicals, risers and flowlines in the West Hub development Block 15/06, 350km north west of Luanda.

In a separate award by Eni, Saipem will carry out work to boost the capacity of gas stations at the ports of Takoradi and Tema in Ghana.

Finally, Saipem has been picked by Nord Stream 2 AG, a Gazprom-led consortium, for the construction of the last section of the pipeline crossing the Baltic Sea and the shore approach in Greiswald, Germany.
