Toyota Stops The Use Of Harmful Substances

Toyota Motor Corp. announced on Monday that it will ban the use of the environmentally harmful mercury, cadmium and chromium in its car production for the European and Japanese market from 2006.

The use of lead will be reduced to less than one tenth, compared with the level of 1996.
