The German automaker Volkswagen is likely to invest millions of euros over the next few years in its factory in Forest, suburb of Belgium's capital Brussels, Norbert Streingraeber, the managing director of VW Forest, said.
He declined to give the exact sum to be invested. "The capital will be used to prepare the factory for building several future models from the Volkswagen group," he said.
Streingraeber also denied rumors that the Forest factory was threatened with closure.
