The customs duties will be imposed for 9 months, according to a document on the government's official website, and relate to tractors, trucks and cars.
The duty on cars with a motor cylinder volume from 1,500 cu cm to 1,800 cu cm will now total 30% of the customs cost, but not less than 1.5 euros ($1.9) per 1 cu cm of the volume. It earlier totaled 25%, but not less than 1.25 euros ($1.6) per 1 cu cm.
The duty on cars with motor cylinder volume from 1,800 cu cm to 2,300 cu cm will now total 30% of the customs cost, but not less than 2.15 euros ($2.8) per 1 cu cm of the volume. This previously totaled 25%, but not less than 1.8 euros ($2.3) per 1 cu cm.
The document also changes the definition of used cars. Those cars that were produced 5 years ago and earlier will be referred to as used. The term was previously 7 years.
The document will enter into force a month after its publication.
