AvtoVaz's cars sales have jumped by more than 20% for the first six months of the year

AvtoVAZ said Thursday that sales jumped 23 percent in the first six months of the year from the same period last year to 220,800 cars as the government’s cash-for-clunkers program stoked demand. June sales soared 77 percent from the same month last year to 51,200 cars, AvtoVAZ said.
