The french Total East company has started the construction of a factory for production, storage and shipping of automobile oils and other materials for $50 mln.
As the company reported in its press release, the enterprise with the capacity of 40,000 tons a year will be put in operation in 2018.
Its productive capacity may be increased to 75,000 tons with the growth of sales volume.
The agreement on cooperation in the sphere of the project implementation has been signed on October 17, 2016, by Fabien Voisin, Director General of the Total East and Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of the Kaluga region.
The construction site will occupy the territory of 7 hectares in Vorsino Freight Village, 67 kilometers from the MRR.
It will allow to provide for the delivery of lubricants including Belarus and Central Asia.
