Top officials from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will hold meetings with counterparts from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, when both groups meet in Hanoi.
On the agenda is the recently approved Air Services Agreement and its impact on bilateral relations. In addition, safety issues, the potential for direct flights and code-sharing opportunities are expected to be on the agenda.
The meeting is part of an official Vietnam visit by the US delegation led by FAA Deputy Administrator, Robert A Sturgell, and Assistant Administrator for International Aviation, Douglas E Lavin.
