- Gazprom has reduced gas transit through Ukraine from about 180 million m3 / day (late December) to about 130 million m3 / day (early January).
The agreement on gas transit operations with Gazprom provides for the capacity booking in the amount of 65 billion m3 (178 million m3 / day) in 2020 and 40 billion m3 (110 million m3 / day) in 2021-2024.
Last year, gas transit was 14% less (or 9.2 billion m3) than provided for in the agreement.
At the same time, Gazprom has already fully paid for the entire volume of ordered capacities under the contract based on the 《pump or pay》 principle.

As reported by Ukrinform, Gas TSO of Ukraine transported 55.8 billion m3 of gas to Europe in 2020, which is 38% less than in 2019.
