Another tanker brings Azerbaijani oil for Belarus to Odessa

Minsk, October 8 - Neftegaz.RU. According BelTA, the unloading of another tanker carrying Azerbaijani oil for Belarus has begun in the Odessa port, BelTA learned from Aleksandr Tishchenko, Press Secretary of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim.

According to the source, the tanker arrived in the Yuzhny port of Odessa and began unloading on 6 October. Oil will be delivered to Mozyr Oil Refinery via the Odessa-Brody pipeline.

The tanker that has brought about 95,000 tonnes of oil departed from the Ceyhan port in Turkey in September.

BelTA reported earlier that Belarusian oil refineries intend to process 1.7 million tonnes of oil in October, including 1.65 million tonnes of Russian oil. As much as 80,000 tonnes of Russian oil will be delivered by rail.

Previously BelTA quoted Belneftekhim Chairman Andrei Rybakov as saying that the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) can deliver up to 1 million tonnes of oil to Belarus in 2020.
