Zarubezhneft signed an Agreement of cooperation for the project of gas supply to the Brod Refinery

Slavonski Brod (Croatia), May 28 - Neftegaz.RU. A meeting between the Company’s General Director Sergey Kudryashov and the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic took place in Croatia.

In course of his visit the head of Zarubezhneft has also met the Chairman of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik to whom he has told of the current activities of the Company’s enterprises operating in the Republic of Srpska (BiH).

In the framework of the meeting with the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic with the Croatian company Crodux plin, Zarubezhneft and Brod Refinery have signed an Agreement on cooperation for implementation of gas supply to the Brod Refinery.

This document was prepared to fix the agreements reached in October 2018 during the meeting of Zarubezhneft’s management with Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and became another step in the major systematic efforts for the purpose of the Brod Refinery gasification.



The negotiation process regarding this issue has further developed after the formal meeting of the top officials of Russia and Croatia which resulted in the companies determining a joint plan of further actions.

During the meeting held with the Chairman of Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, the head of Zarubezhneft has also noted the large role he played for the gasification of the refinery.

The Agreement anticipates reconstruction of the existing product pipeline heading from Brod Refinery to Croatia with its further connection to the gas transportation system of Croatia.

Zarubezhneft has already implemented a number of measures under the gasification project. During 2019 the design capacities of the refinery will not be used due to the modernization and the technical preparation of the Refinery to receive gas. It is planned to complete the works by the end of 2019.
