Ashgabat, December 22 - Neftegaz.RU. A month ahead of schedule, the Chelyabinsk Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) supplied products to the State Concern Turkmengas for the construction of the international gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI).
The contract for the supply of pipes between the Turkmengaz State Concern and ChTPZ worth more than $200 million was concluded in April 2019.
The Russian group of ChTPZ became the winner among 94 participants of the tender of the Turkmengaz State Concern for the supply of pipes for the TAPI gas pipeline under construction.

In particular, the Trubodetal plant (part of the United Metallurgical Company group) delivered 960 tons of pipe fittings for the TAPI international gas pipeline in four months of 2020.
To fulfill this order, Trubodetal used large-diameter sheet and pipes produced by another UMC enterprise, the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant (Nizhny Novgorod Region).
Such cooperation of UMC plants made it possible to guarantee the quality of the final product and ship it ahead of schedule by a month.
